Welcome to your weekly weekend guide for Katy, Texas! As we ease into the beautiful, sunny days of June, our community is bursting with excitement. From high-energy live concerts and local markets to youth sports tournaments and summer play days, we have a packed schedule of local fun lined up.


Friday, June 5, 2026: Morning Yoga, Kids' Parties, and Live Music

  • Friday Yoga on the Green: Kickstart your Friday morning by centering your mind and body. Head over to LaCenterra’s Central Green Park (23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd) from 8:00 AM to 10:15 AM for a relaxing, free outdoor Yoga session. It is the perfect way to stretch, breathe, and welcome the weekend in a peaceful open-air setting. Don't forget to bring your personal yoga mat and a bottle of water!

  • Nature Party Day at Katy Center: If you are looking for engaging, hands-on activities for the kiddos, the Katy Center (20718 Park Row Dr) is hosting its "Nature Party Day" as part of their June Summer Fun series. Running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this event features nature-inspired games, outdoor-themed exploration, and sensory play that will keep children entertained and active. Be sure to schedule your spot in advance!

  • Chamber Ribbon Cutting: Veronica Lynd - GEICO Grand Opening: Help support a local business! The Katy Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for Veronica Lynd - GEICO. Stop by to network, meet fellow community members, and welcome a new neighbor to our local economy.

  • Live Music: Spin Cycle at Central Green Park: End your Friday on a high note! Back by popular demand, the incredibly versatile band Spin Cycle is taking the stage at Central Green Park from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Formed in 2008 by Matt Jackson, this group is famous for their electric, genre-blending performances that cover everything from funk and R&B to country and classic rock. Bring your lawn chairs, pack a picnic, or grab some dinner to-go from one of LaCenterra’s excellent restaurants for a night of dancing on the lawn.


Saturday, June 6, 2026: Farmers' Markets, 3v3 Basketball, and Uplifting Vibes

  • The Old Katy Farmers Market at The Dryer: Spend your Saturday morning picking up fresh, local goodies! Head to the historic Dryer site (5339 E 3rd St) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the weekly certified Farmers Market. It is the premier spot in town to load up on fresh-picked local produce, handmade crafts, direct-from-the-hive honey, and mouthwatering artisanal baked goods.

  • City of Katy 3v3 Basketball Tournament: Get ready to lace up your sneakers or cheer from the sidelines! The City of Katy is hosting a highly anticipated 3v3 Basketball Tournament from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It is a fantastic, high-energy event for local youth, athletes, and sports fans to show off their skills, support local teams, and enjoy a lively afternoon of friendly community competition.

  • Live Music: "No Where But Up" at Central Green Park: Keep the energy high on Saturday night! Central Green Park presents No Where But Up on the outdoor stage from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This free, family-friendly event is designed to elevate your evening with live, upbeat music, excellent vibes, and great company. Sunday, June 7, 2026: Relaxed Sunday Shopping
